One newly married wife was stabbed to death by her husband at Moniruzzaman Tower, a six-storied building in Kharampatty residential area of the town on Tuesday midnight.
On information police recovered the dead body from the Moniruzzaman Tower on Tuesday evening.
The victim was identified as Soma Akther (22), daughter of late Md. Hadis Mia, Sadullarchar village under Kishoreganj Sadar. She was a owner of Suma Beauty Puller, Station Road, Kishoreganj town.
Additional Police Super Liton Kumer Saha visited the spot. The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj 250- bed Hospital Morgue for an autopsy.
A case was filed against Suma’s husband Rubel in this connection with Kishoreganj Model Thana.
