One of the popular mega serials of this period is ‘Smritir Alpona Anki’. Recently deceased actress Shimana used to act in this series which is currently being broadcast on ATN Bangla. The entire unit of the serial is deeply saddened by the death of Shimana.
Murad Parvez, the director of the serial, expressed deep regret about this and said, “Shimana was the essence of my serial ‘Smritir Alpona Anki’. Her passing away like this is very difficult and painful for us. Shimana used to act in this serial with great interest and ambition. May Allah grant her Jannat. We have not yet thought of who will replace Shimana in the serial.”
Sajid is a new character in this serial who has just returned home from America. Noted actor Tushar Khan is acting in this role for the first time in this series.
In the serial, Jhuna Chowdhury plays the role of Barrister Rahman and Mili Munshi plays the role of Jhuna Chowdhury’s wife, while actress Farzana Chumki plays the role of Rina.
So far 776 episodes of the series have been broadcast on ATN Bangla.
Its director Murad Parvez said that the 800th episode of the serial will be aired within a few days.
While talking about acting in the serial, actor Tushar Khan told this correspondent, “It can be said that I am working under the guidance of Murad Parvez after a decade. My work with him is wonderful. Murad does everything beautifully. His work is quite nice.”
Noted actor Jhuna Chowdhury shared his feelings by this way, “Since the story of this serial is a story of the past, we have to struggle a lot while acting. Because Murad Parvez is very talented, he made the work easy for us. We get good response from the audience for the story.”
Actress of the serial, Mili Munshi said, “‘Smritir Alpona Anki’ is a family. I have been working on this serial since 2021. It is a neat unit. And Murad Parvez is very sincere. That’s why the work is quite enjoyable despite the many difficulties.”
Another actress Farzana Chumki shared her feelings by this way, “Murad Parvez is my friend. Our friendship is 25 years long. But this is my first time working under his direction. Murad is very caring towards work. His sincerity and respect for the artistes impressed me. I pride myself as one of the ‘Smritir Alpona Anki’ family.”
It is noted that some of the artistes who used to act in this series but have passed away are Khalekuzzaman, SM Mohsin, Sharmily Ahmed and Shimana.
