Hamza Khan, joint general secretary of Manikganj District Chhatra League (CL), was attacked by terrorists at 8 pm on Thursday (March 14). He was admitted to ManikganjSadar Hospital in injured condition.
In this regard, the victim’s mother Manowara Khanam filed a written complaint with theManikganjSadar police station in the names of four persons including 20/25unknown persons. The incident took place in front of Nagar Bhaban in West Dashra area of Ward No. 6 of Manikganj Municipality at 8 o’clock on Thursday (March 14). The victim Hamza Khan is the son of ZulfiqarMalek of West Dashra area and joint general secretary of Manikganj District Chhatra League.
According to the complaint, Hamza Khan was talking to his friend Tawhidul in front of his house. At that time, 20-25 people including Sohan Rahman (24), Adnan Hossain (23), Aminur Islam (22), Abdullah Aldin Likhan (25) suddenly attacked due to previous enmity. They beat them indiscriminately with bamboo sticks, wooden bats, iron rods, gas pipes.
In this regard, Hamza Khan said, I have become a general secretary candidate in the upcoming district council of Chhatra League. This is the main problem. The terrorists have threatened to attack several times, but this time they attacked directly. My head is stitched. My back and hands were badly bruised. I am currently under treatment. I want exemplary punishment for the attackers.
