Kishoreganj Mohila Parishad decries Abantika’s suicide

Bangladesh Mohila Parishad of Kishoreganj district unit arranged a meeting and human chain at Gurudhayal Govt. College Shaheed minar square on Wednesday afternoon to protest the incitement of suicide of a student of Jagannath University’s law department. Mohila Parishad district president advocate Maya Bhowmick presided over the protest rally.
It was addressed among others by district general secretary Atia Hossain, Mohila Awami League district secretary Bilkis Begum, Jahanara Islam, Advocate Pratibha Sheel and Legal Aid Secretary Hasina Haider Chameli,
The speakers strongly condemned and protested the suicide of Fairuz Abantika, a student of Jagannath University, by Rayhan Siddiqui Amman, a student of the law department, and Assistant Proctor Deen Islam, and demanded exemplary peace for those involved. At the same time, they demanded to ensure sexual harassment and harassment free education.
