Jatiya Party holds milad mahfil

A doa and milad mahfil was organised by Jatiya Party in Chauddagram, Cumilla, for the well-being of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

Jatiya Party Presidium Member Kazi Nahid was present as the chief guest at the doa mahfil held at Meshtala in Munshirhat Union of the upazila on Wednesday afternoon.

Doa and munajat were conducted by Maulana Salimullah, the Pesh Imam of Munshirhat High School Mosque.

Munshirhat Union Jatiya Party leader Abdul Malek presided over the event, and Upazila Jatiya Party Organizing Secretary Obaidul Haque Patwary, Upazila Jubo Sanghati Convener Kazi Shahid, Munshirhat Tahera Khatun High School Headmaster Nasir Uddin Miyaji, Union Jatiya Party leader Nur Hossain Nuru, Jalal Ahmed BSC, Abul Kashem Bhuiyan, Subedar Titu Mia, Abul Hashem, Soleman Mia, Shafiqur Rahman, Mohammad Hossain, Nazir Ahmed, Istaq Ahmed, Abdul Barek, Azgar Ali and others were present.

Chief guest Kazi Nahid said, “We believe that the situation that has arisen in the country in the last few days, if Allah Ta’ala keeps Begum Khaleda Zia alive, then the ongoing political crisis in the country will be resolved.”

Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is the leader of all the people of this country.

On the news of his illness, people from all over the country raised their hands and prayed to Allah Almighty for his health.

Prayers are being held all over the country on the instructions of our party chairman Mustafa Jamal Haider.

Begum Khaleda Zia has worked to overcome any crisis in the country at different times and in different situations in Bangladesh.

The people of Bangladesh will not be able to forget Khaleda Zia’s contribution. She has fought to the death for democracy.

The Awami League government has tried many times to send her abroad. She has said that if I die, it will be on the soil of Bangladesh, no one can force me to go abroad.
