Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has signed a protocol with Cankiri Karatekin University (CAKU) in Turkey under the Erasmus KA171 Staff Mobility programme. This collaboration will offer a unique opportunity for IU faculty members to participate in the Teaching and Training Mobility Programme 2024-25.
According to a notice signed by Professor Dr. Mohammad Wali Ullah, Director of the IU International Affairs Division, the five-day program is scheduled to take place from May 5 to May 9, 2025, on the Cankiri University campus in Turkey. The selected participants will receive funding under the provisions of the Erasmus project.
Faculty members from the departments of Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Art & Design, and Business are invited to apply for the Staff Mobility for Teaching programme. Meanwhile, applications for the Staff Mobility for Training programme are open to faculty from all departments.
Applicants are required to submit their proposals and CVs, including academic and administrative experience, publications from the last five years (highlighting impact factors, indexing, and roles as author), ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and ORCID IDs, total citations, and h-index according to Google Scholar. Applications must be submitted through the respective department chairperson to the Director of the International Affairs Division by December 7, 2024.
Candidates must also ensure they have an international passport with at least six months of validity.
