Baraigram (Natore) Correspondent :

Former Deputy Minister and BNP central leader Adv. Md Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu said, ‘We have achieved the first stage of victory with the fall of the dictatorial Hasina government on August 5. However, until complete victory comes, leaders and activists must continue their movement on the streets in a well-organized manner.
When the student movement almost came to a standstill due to the terrible grip of fascism, at that moment, Tarique Rahman, acting as the leader of the nation, transformed the movement into a student movement. The people of the country wanted freedom from the fascist government. However, our blood-soaked revolution cannot be called successful until a democratic government is established through free and fair elections.’ Therefore, leaders and activists must remain vigilant and united to ensure people’s voting rights.
He made these remarks as the chief guest at a public meeting at the Bonpara bypass intersection in Natore’s Baraigram upazila on Sunday afternoon. The public meeting, organized jointly by Baraigram upazila, Baraigram and Bonpara municipalities, was chaired by Baraigram upazila BNP convener Advocate Abdul Quader Mia, while Gurudaspur upazila BNP president Abdul Aziz spoke as the main speaker. Besides, the meeting moderated by Baraigram Municipality BNP President and former Mayor Ishaq Ali and Bonpara Municipality BNP Convener Professor Lutfar Rahman.
