Small screen actor Afran Nisho made his big screen debut with the movie ‘Surongo’ last year. Tama Mirza was opposite him.
Apart from their business success, Tama and Nisho were also appreciated as a pair on the screen.
Rumours are spreading recently that this pair will be seen again in a new movie titled ‘Daagi’.
After ‘Surongo’ became a hit, many thought that Nisho’s film journey would be long. He will spin the stick on the big screen as well as the small screen.
Because after debuting on the big screen, he left the small screen work. Like Nisho,
Tama also dreamed of
new possibilities.
Many thought that the success of ‘Surongo’ would lead to a long list of new movies for Tama. But it has been the
opposite. After the release of ‘Surongo’, the two went into hiding. Even after a year and
a half of ‘Surongo’, Nisho and Tama could not give news about the new movie.
After a hiatus, Nisho signed
a production contract with SVF-Alpha-i Entertainment
at the end of May this year.
However, at that time, the name of the movie, the list
of the names of the directors and actors were not disclosed.
At the beginning of this month, it was known that Shihab Shaheen is directing
one of the two movies. The name of the movie is ‘Daagi’.
Rumors have arisen that Tama Mirza will be seen opposite Afran Nisho in ‘Daagi’ like ‘Surongo’. Tama Mirza did not deny when contacted confirming the movie ‘Daagi’. However, Tama Mirza did not know to comment on the movie at the moment. While talking in this regard, Tama Mirza said, “I don’t want to talk about this.”
Shihab Shaheen is returning as a director on the big screen after almost a decade with ‘Daagi’. His only movie titled ‘Chhuye Dile Mon’ was released in 2015.
After that, the director worked regularly in drama and
OTT platforms but was not seen on the big screen.
It is heard that ‘Daagi’ is the ultimate movie. The director is planning to start shooting from December. The names of the performers will be announced soon.
There were rumours of Nisho and Tama acting in Raihan Rafi’s movie ‘Asiat’. However, there was no official announcement of this movie.
