Later, Pori Moni was shown arrested in a drug case. At that time, this heroine had to stay in jail for 26 days.
Remembering the memory of that time, Pori Moni said in a funny way that she learned a lot of slang words in jail.
On that occasion Pori Moni was asked what she learned from prison life. Pori Moni replied, “I was sent to jail. Will I learn something good by going there? Allowed to live with all drug addicts. There I learned a lot of slang. They used to do that all the time.”
Narrating the experiences of staying in jail, Pori Moni said, “I went to jail and saw different stories of each person. There are many who have gone to jail more than 40 times. A whole different world – some are walking around with blood on their faces. There is a lot of grouping, there is beaching. Spending time in jail is very difficult. There is no activity there. How long can they talk? Many people used to fight to pass the time. I have written down those memories.”
Pori Moni developed a good relationship with many female inmates during her stay in the jail.
The actress said, “Good relations were formed with many. When I got out of jail, many people were upset at that time. They cried while leaving and hugged my neck. The two were very happy again. Their attitude was to survive.”
