On the occasion of the great Independence Day, the cover of ‘Historical Ramgarh’ magazine, a special publication on the liberation war, has been unveiled by the upazila administration.
Upazila Chairman Biswa Prodeep Kumar Karbari unveiled the cover of this magazine as the chief guest at Ramgarh Auditorium on Tuesday (March 26). Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mamata Afrin presided over the event.
Journalist, writer Nizam Uddin Lavlu is the editor of the magazine and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mamata Afrin is the publisher.
In the magazine, the history of the liberation war of Ramgarh, the history of the liberation war of the old former subdivision and the headquarters of the liberation war sector-1, the glorious memoirs of the war of the brave freedom fighters, and the valuable writings on history and heritage have been placed.
After the official unveiling, copies of the magazine were distributed among the nation’s greatest freedom fighters and their families.
Later, on the occasion of the great Independence Day, the brave freedom fighters and freedom fighter family members were felicitated. In the event, editor of “Historical Ramgarh” Nizam Uddin Lavlu, Officer in charge of the police station, Dev Priya Das, former freedom fighter commander Md. Mofizur Rahman including government officials of various departments, brave freedom fighters, teachers, journalists were present.
