The police recovered a hanging body of an unidentified woman (32) from a mango tree of Purba Mothertag area under Sabujbag police station in the capital on Sunday.
After the recovery, the police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for post-mortem.
Rabina Awal, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Sabujbagh police station, confirmed the matter to the media.
The SI said being informed the police we went to the spot around 9 am and recovered the hanging body.
The identity of the woman could not be known despite talking to the local people.
