Gonoshasthaya Kendra trustee board members and executive council members of its sister concerns at a joint meeting reiterated that all the Gonoshasthaya Kendra institutes would operate on the basis of the ideology of its founder Zafrullah Chowdhury, who died in March this year.
The meeting was held on Saturday at Savar Gonoshasthaya Samaj Vittik Medical College where trustee board chairperson professor Altafunnesa chaired, said a press release.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra officials Freedom Fighter Dr. Md. Nazimuddin Ahmed, Sandhya Roy, Dr. Manzur Kadir Ahmed, Dr. Kana Chowdhury, Professor Dr. Mezbah Uddin, Jahangir Alam Mintu, Dr. Rezaul Haque, Dr. Tariqul Islam, Mir Abdul Naqeeb, SM Mohibullah Mohiuddin, Md. Sirajul Islam, Md. Saiful Islam, Dr. Giyas Uddin, Aklima Khatun, Ranjan Kumar Mitra, Md. Abdus Salam, Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed, Md. Feroz Bhuiyan, Rajib Munshi and Dr. Mosreka Khatun were present at the meeting.
The meeting vowed that they would finish the unfinished tasks of Zafrullah who was a public health campaigner.
They remembered contributions of their founder late Zafrullah Chowdhury who worked his entire life to ensure health rights of mass people.
Zafrullah died on March 11 at the age of 82.
