The government has released the gazette containing the names of 1,242 people injured during the July-August mass uprising, further expanding the “July Warriors” list.
These individuals, categorised as “Ga” for slight injuries, include 534 from Mymensingh Division and 708 from Sylhet Division.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs on Wednesday unveiled the latest list of individuals injured during the July-August mass uprising. The gazette includes detailed information such as the medical case IDs, names, parents’ names, and permanent addresses of the injured.
This follows the release of a gazette on March 4, which documented 772 “Ga” injured individuals from the Barisal Division.
On February 27, a total of 1,401 “July Warriors” were officially recognised, including 493 “Ka” critically injured and 908 “Kha” seriously injured individuals.
The government has outlined plans to offer support based on the severity of the injuries, categorising them into three classes. Additionally, a gazette of 834 martyrs from the uprising was published on January 15, honoring those who lost their lives.
