A man named Jalal Ahmed, accused in a sabotage case, has been arrested in an operation by joint forces in border upazila Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar. He was arrested on Thursday from Langurbil area of Teknaf. RAB claims, Jalal Ahmed from Ukhia-Teknaf area is an associate of former Member of Parliament (MP) AbdurRahman Badi is involved in the ‘drug trade’.
Jalal’s house is in Langurbil area.
Captain of RAB-15 on duty in Cox’s Bazar. Colonel Sajjad Hossain informed this in a press release. According to RAB information, the arrested Jalal Ahmed has hundreds of charges of attempted murder, human trafficking, terrorist activities, extortion, drug trade, land grabbing, money embezzlement and several cases. Legal action has been taken to hand over him to the police station.
