DU unveils admission test result of all units

The entry test results for all the units of Dhaka University’s undergraduate programme of the academic year 2023-2024 was published on Thursday.
DU Vice Chancellor Prof ASM Maksud Kamal unveilled the result yesterday to the university’s official website at the Abdul Motin Chowdhury virtual classroom.

This year the admission test was taken under the supervision of four units_Arts, Law and Social Science unit (Kha unit), Science unit (Ka), Business Studies unit (Ga) and Fine Arts (Cha unit).

The admission test results are available on university website_admission.eis.du.ac.bd. It can also be checked by sending SMS DU ALS <roll no> for Kha unit, DU CSI <roll no> for Ka unit, DU BUS <roll no> for Ga unit and DU FRT <roll no> for Cha unit to 16321.

A total of 10,275 (10.07 percent) students out of 1,02,000 participants have passed at the Arts, Law and Social Sciences unit where Prionty Mondal, student of Govt M M City College, Khulna came 1st position scoring 105.25 out of 120.
There are a total of 2,934 seats available in the Arts, Law and Social Science unit, of which 944 are allocated for science students, 1,707 seats for humanities and283 seats for business background students.

In Science unit9,723 (8.89 percent) students out of 1,09,363 participants have passed, where Proteek Rasul of Notre Dame College got the 1st position scoring 111.15 out of 120. A total of 1,851 seats are available in this unit.


Besides, a total of 4,582 (13.33 percent) students out of 34,367 participants have passed at the Business Studies unit where Othoi Dhar of Govt Commerce College, Chattogram, came 1st position scoring 105.50 out of 120. A total of 1,050 seats are available in this unit.

In Fine Arts unit, a total of 530 (11.75 percent) students out of 4,510 participants have passed in this unit where Md Badhon Talukder of Bir Shreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College got the 1st position scoring 198.16. A total of 130 seats are available in this unit.

However, successful candidates will have to choose subject through the admission website within 3 April to 25 April.

The candidates who applied with quota will have to collect adjacent form of quota from respective dean’s office and fill-up the form between 21 April and 25 April.
