Dr. Md. Mahmudul Haque, Senior Lecturer at the Labuan Faculty of International Finance, University Malaysia Sabah, is making significant strides in Islamic finance and fintech. A graduate of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and INCEIF, Dr. Haque has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Sher e Bangla Golden Award for Best Researcher in 2023 and the SDG Innovation Award in 2024.
Notable for his work in the Takaful industry, Dr. Haque has developed financial solutions for societal needs such as mental health and child abuse protection.
