The Sylhet District Administration felicitated meritorious students who obtained GPA-5 in all subjects in HSC and equivalent examinations in the entire Sylhet district.
On Tuesday morning, Sylhet Divisional Commissioner Khan Md. Reza-un-Nabi was the chief guest at the meritorious student reception programms organized at the Sylhet District Shilpakala Academy in collaboration with Sylhet Gas Field Ltd.
He said in his speech as chief guest, The meritorious should come forward under the leadership of the state, society and all levels of the country.
You, the meritorious students, will sit at home, and you will be led by the unworthy, that cannot happen.
Miscreants should be removed from all parts of society. He said, there will be no place for miscreants in Bangladesh.
Everyone should come forward to make the new Bangladesh free from miscreants.
Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Md. Sarwar Alam presided over the program.
Special guests present at the program were Sylhet Education Board Chairman Professor Md. Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Sylhet Additional Divisional Commissioner (General, Revenue, Director – Local Government) Debjit Singh, Sylhet Gas Fields Ltd. Managing Director Engineer Md. Abdul Jalil Pramanik, eminent educationist Professor Hayatul Islam Akanji, MC College Principal.
