NRBC Bank observes ‘Remittance Service Month’ during Ramadan

NRBC Bank PLC is observing the holy month of Ramadan as a ‘Special Remittance Service Month’ to encourage expatriates to send remittances through formal banking channels and to further expand related services.
On this occasion, special gifts are being offered to remittance beneficiaries until Eid. The program was inaugurated on Thursday, by the bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan.
Among others present at the event were Deputy Managing Director Muhammad Abdul Qaium Khan, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Faisal Ahmed, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Serajul Amin Ahmed, Head of International Division Hasnat Reza Mohibbul Alam, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Rasedul Islam, and other senior officials.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan said that as a remittance-focused bank, NRBC Bank has been giving the highest priority to expatriate income services.
The Board of Directors and management consider the remittance sector one of the bank’s key strategic service areas.
The special gifts are being offered to share the joy of Eid with the families of expatriates. The bank remains committed to delivering remittances to customers quickly, safely, and conveniently through its nationwide branch and sub-branch network.
To enhance service quality for remittance clients, dedicated ‘Remittance Service Desks’ have already been introduced at all outlets.
As part of this ongoing initiative, the special gift distribution program is being conducted throughout the month of Ramadan.
