The time is now for technology. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is also increasing in cinema. Many believe that this technology was also used in James Cameron’s movie ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’.

However, before the release, James Cameron made it clear that AI was not used as a substitute for artists in any episode of the movie Avatar.

He took this decision out of full trust and respect for the artistes.

James Cameron has opened new doors in the world of visual effects technology.

Especially with the magic of performance capture technology, the blue characters of the movie ‘Avatar’ have come to life as if they were a figment of imagination.

So, everyone thought that this time he would surprise the audience even more with the help of AI. However, the director did not follow this path.

So, Cameron wanted to clarify the matter to everyone before the release of the movie.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, James Cameron said, “I’m not against generative AI.

I just want to make this clear, this technology was not used in the Avatar movie. We respect the actors, we don’t replace them.”

He added, “For years, people have had the idea that we are doing something strange with computers, where the need for actors is disappearing.

Performance capture technology is not replacing actors, but rather creating a new art form by combining the actor’s skills with the director’s ideas.

At the opposite end of this technology is AI. Where AI can create a character, actor or entire scene with just the right writing and instructions. That seems scary to me.

That’s why we don’t do that.”
The third installment of the Avatar series, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, will be released worldwide on December 19.

In this story, fire has come in the form of horror. The Ash People live around the volcano. They know how to control fire. Jack Sully-Netiris fight against this violent race.

The first installment of Avatar was released in 2009. The second installment, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, comes in 2022.
