BD gets 1st multi-scale battery energy storage
Business Desk :
Fakir Technologies Limited, part of the Fakir Fashion family, has officially launched “ZERO”, Bangladesh’s first multi-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), marking a major step toward a smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable energy future.
The ZERO BESS is designed to meet the power needs of industries, commercial buildings, and households, integrating seamlessly with both solar and grid electricity.
The system provides uninterrupted, cost-effective power, reducing reliance on diesel generators, carbon emissions, noise pollution, and maintenance costs.
The ZERO brand offers three scalable solutions: ZERO Max (1 to 10 MW) for large industries, hospitals, data centers, and government institutions; ZERO Mid (100 to 800 KW) for small to medium factories and offices; and ZERO Nano (5 to 60 KW) for homes and small offices, ensuring reliable electricity all year round.
Fakir Technologies has already installed a 1 MW ZERO BESS at Fakir Fashion Ltd., a milestone that represents a significant step toward energy efficiency and independence in Bangladesh’s industrial sector.
According to Managing Director Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid, this 1 MW system can reduce up to 661 tons of carbon emissions annually, highlighting its contribution to a greener, sustainable future.
To support long-term reliability, Fakir Technologies has also opened a state-of-the-art Battery Service Center, offering advanced maintenance and repair services for ZERO BESS and other battery systems.
With initiatives like ZERO, Bangladesh is moving closer to a cleaner, energy-independent future, empowering both industries and households to adopt responsible, sustainable energy solutions while minimizing environmental impact.
