After a two-year break, Dhallywood’s popular actress Apu Biswasis making her return to the big screen. Audiences will see her in an entirely new look and different getup in the thriller film Durbar, directed by Kamrul Hasan Fuad. Apu Biswas herself said that she will be seen in the film “with unstoppable momentum.”
The shooting of the film is already progressing rapidly. Apu Biswas shared that around 40 percent of her portions have been completed so far, and the remaining work will be finished soon. She said, “There are many surprises in this film. Audiences will be able to enjoy a movie with a strong story.”
Talking about returning to the camera after a long break, Apu Biswas said, “Cinema is the core of my identity. I am Apu Biswas today because of films. The love I have received from the audience has come through this medium. So, even if it’s a bit late, it feels wonderful to return with a good film.”
In Durbar, Apu Biswas will be seen opposite popular small-screen actor Shajal for the first time. She is very excited about this new pairing as well. She said, “Shajal bhai is extremely humble and a very talented actor. I am a fan of his acting. From the very first day, our working experience has been very good. The audience will see us in a new way.” She even referred to Shajal as her “dream hero.”
Speaking about director Kamrul Hasan Fuad, Apu Biswas said that he is a talented filmmaker who is very careful about both storytelling and execution. “Just as the story is different, his finesse is clearly visible in the direction as well,” she added. However, she did not want to reveal details about her character at this moment.
