Actor Shyamal Mawla, Erfan Mridha Shiblu and among others went
to Bandarban for the shooting
of the movie ‘Nadan’.
The shooting team returned to Thanchi after 10 to 12 days of shooting in remote area of Remakri in Thanchi upazila of Bandarban district.
They participated in Thanchi market’s shooting from last Wednesday morning. The entire shooting unit was suddenly attacked by gunfire around noon.
Actor Shamol Mawla posted a video recorded at that time on Facebook
last Wednesday night and wrote,
“We are in the face of bullets while shooting the movie Nadan.”
On Wednesday, two branches of Sonali Bank and Krishi Bank were robbed in
the market of Thanchi upazila.
After the robbery in the afternoon,
40 to 50 persons left Thanchi.
Apart from Shamol Mawla and Erfan Mridha Shiblu, there were also Shyamal Mawla’s wife actress Maha Shikder, director Farhad Chowdhury, actor Saif Khan, actress Saima Smrity, and among others also took part in the shooting
of the movie. Actor Shiblu wrote on Facebook, “If someone is planning to come Thanchi of Bandarban, don’t come to kindly, the situation here is bad,
there is firing. Please pray for us.”
Later, the team of ‘Nadan’ returned
to the hotel in Thanchi with the help of the law enforcement forces. Thanchi’s
situation was at a standstill. They
were practically blocked in the hotel.
After the situation calmed down in Thanchi, they took the road to Dhaka at night. Shyamal Mawla, Erfan Mridha arrived yesterday morning. Actor Erfan Mridha Shiblu wrote on Facebook about his return to Dhaka on Thursday, “Alhamdulillah, finally safely reached
in beloved Dhaka this morning.”
