Amr Bangladesh (AB )Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Manju, candidate with the Eagle symbol, has collected nomination papers for the Feni-2 parliamentary constituency in the 13th National Parliament election. He collected the nomination papers from Feni District Returning Officer and Feni Deputy Commissioner Ms. Monira Haque on Wednesday, December 24 at 12 noon.
During the collection of nomination papers, AB Party Joint General Secretary Barrister Jobayer Ahmed Bhuiyan, Comilla Metropolitan Convener Mia Toufiq, Chittagong Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary, prominent businessman from Feni Shah Alam Badal, Feni District Convener Ahsan Ullah, Senior Joint Convener Aflatun Baki, Member Secretary Fazlul Haque, Joint Member Secretary Nazrul Islam Kamrul, Finance Secretary Shahin Sultani and others were present with him. After collecting the nomination papers, Mujibur Rahman Manju said to the media personnel present, “I would never have considered it a civilized and polite thing to do to seek votes by promoting my qualifications to the people and presenting myself as a very good person.
But today, despite my reluctance, I have to do such a thing in this election. I have to say that I am more qualified than others, vote for me. But I do not want to say or do that. I would rather talk about my incompetence.” This is my first election, I have no past experience as a public representative.
I have been in politics from the grassroots to the center for about 35 years since my student days, I have endured torture, oppression, imprisonment, and oppression, but God willing, I have never bowed my head and been defeated. I have many certificates but no certificate to represent the people.
