CMP arrests 48 in last 24hrs
Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 48 people, including 26 snatchers, in a citywide operation over the past 24 hours.
The arrests took place in different parts of Chattogram through operations conducted until Saturday noon as part of CMP’s ongoing Operation ‘S-Drive,’ aimed at curbing various criminal activities.
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Senior Assistant Commissioner (Public Relations) Aminur Rashid said the operation also led to the detention of five drug dealers, eight gamblers, and seven members of a juvenile gang.
Cases have been filed against the arrested individuals at the relevant police stations, and they have been sent to court.
