Mia Nuruddin appointed as Whip

Mia Nuruddin Ahmed Apu, Member of Parliament for Shariatpur-3 (Damudya, Gosairhat, and Bhedarganj), has been appointed as a Whip of the 11th National Parliament. He previously served as the APS to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

He was elected as the MP from Shariatpur-3, and the appointment was announced on Monday through a gazette issued by the Human Resources Branch of the National Parliament Secretariat. According to the gazette, the appointments are effective immediately by the order of the President.
