No more mob culture Home Minister

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has warned that “mob culture” will no longer be tolerated, improving law and order, and ensuring smooth implementation across key sectors.

On Wednesday, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said Tarique delivered guidance and instructions during the first cabinet meeting following the government’s formation.

Earlier, Tarique arrived at the Secretariat for his first working day after forming the government on Tuesday.

Ministers and state ministers proceeded to their respective offices before convening the cabinet meeting.

Salahuddin said, “Typically, the first 100 days’ priorities are set. This time, we have set priorities for 180 days. You will learn the details later, reports bdnews24.com.

Among other priorities, he mentioned maintaining the supply chain and ensuring no disruptions in electricity and fuel sectors.

He added that, in meetings with Secretariat officials, Tarique emphasised working within the law and fulfilling public expectations while implementing the government’s manifesto.
