TCB launches commodity selling on truck during Ramadan

Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has launches a subsidized truck sale of essential commodities in Kishoreganj, Ahead of the holy Ramadan to low-income people on Tuesday afternoon.

Like the rest of the country, mobile truck sales activities have been launched in Administration supervision. ADC (Devel. & Human Resource ) Ishtiaq Emon formally inaugurates the program at Kachari Bazar in the town Sadar UNO Kamrul Hasan Maruf and others dignified persons were also present.

ADC Ishtiaq Emon said, this special program has been taken to keep daily essentials within the purchasing power of the common people on the occasion of the holy Ramadan as per government instructions. The truck sale will run for a total of 20 days from February 17, 2026 to March 12, 2026.

Products will be sold daily through mobile trucks at five designated locations in different wards of Kishoreganj Municipality. A maximum of 400 buyers will have the opportunity to purchase a certain amount of products from each truck daily.

A buyer can collect a maximum of 2 liters of edible oil (Tk 115 per liter), 1 kg of sugar (Tk 80), 2 kg of lentils (Tk 70 per kg), 1 kg of chickpeas (Tk 60) and half a kg of dates (Tk 160 per kg).
