Jamaat-nominated candidates win all 4 seats in Nilphamari

In the recently held national parliamentary election, candidates nominated by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami secured victory in all four constituencies of Nilphamari District. The outcome has generated widespread discussion and enthusiasm among the party’s leaders, activists, and supporters across the district’s political arena.

In Nilphamari-01, District Ameer Principal Maulana Abdus Sattar emerged victorious. According to party sources, his long organizational experience and active grassroots involvement helped him gain the confidence of voters.
In Nilphamari-02, District Assistant Secretary Advocate Al Faruk Abdul Latif won the seat.

He is widely known in the area due to his professional career as well as his engagement in various social and political activities.
In Nilphamari-1 (Domar-Dimla) constituency, out of 154 polling centers, Jamaat candidate Maulana Abdus Sattar was elected with 149,214 votes under the “Scales” symbol.

His closest rival, BNP alliance candidate Maulana Manjurul Islam Afendi, received 118,160 votes with the “Date Palm Tree” symbol.

In Nilphamari-2 (Sadar) constituency, Jamaat candidate Al Faruk Abdul Latif was elected with 145,202 votes from 134 polling centers. His nearest competitor, BNP candidate Shaharin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, obtained 134,579 votes.

In Nilphamari-3 (Jaldhaka) constituency, Jamaat candidate Maulana Obaidullah Salafi won with 108,560 votes from 105 polling centers. His closest rival, BNP candidate Syed Ali, received 89,102 votes.

In Nilphamari-4 (Saidpur-Kishoreganj) constituency, Jamaat candidate Hafez Abdul Muntakim secured victory with 124,865 votes from 169 polling centers. His nearest rival, BNP candidate Abdul Gafur Sarkar, received 81,526 votes.

Maulana Obaidullah Salafi, elected from Nilphamari-03, is known for his active participation in religious and social initiatives, which contributed to his popularity among the general public.

Meanwhile, Hafez Maulana Abdul Muntakim, elected from Nilphamari-04, has been praised by local party leaders for his significant role in strengthening the organization at the grassroots level.

With a clean sweep of all four seats, a festive atmosphere now prevails within the district unit of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

Party leaders described the result as a reflection of public support and expressed their commitment to playing an active role in future development activities.
