Renowned actress Farida Akter Babita will receive the Ekushey Padak this year in recognition of her special contribution to cinema.

The Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam confirmed this information at a press conference organised at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday.

In this regard, Babita shared her feelings by this way, “I’m very, very happy to receive the Ekushey Padak.
