Agrani Bank holds annual sports competition 2026

Agrani Bank PLC organised its Annual Sports Competition 2026 at the Government Physical Education College ground in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.

The two-day event was inaugurated on Saturday morning by Syed Abu Naser Bokhtiar Ahmed, chairman of the board of directors of Agrani Bank PLC, who attended the programme as the chief guest.

Members of the bank’s board of directors, including Dr Mohammad Fazlul Haque, Kabirul Izdani Khan, Mohammad Sultan Mahmud, Muzaffar Ahmed and Md Sayeed Qutub, were present at the inauguration, along with Managing Director Md Anwarul Islam, deputy managing directors and senior executives of the bank.

Executives, officers and employees from all levels of Agrani Bank participated in the competition, taking part in a wide range of events.

These included march past, sprint and relay races, long jump, high jump, cycling race, shot put, discus throw, pillow passing, pot breaking, tug of war and musical chairs.

The sports competition was organised under the supervision of Deputy Managing Director and Convener of the Sports Committee Parsuma Alam and General Manager and Member Secretary Md Jalal Uddin.

Following the conclusion of the two-day programme, prizes were distributed among the winners on Saturday afternoon.
