Axentec PLC Inaugurates State-of-the-art 5G Network at CPA

Chattogram Port has achieved a new milestone in ensuring uninterrupted and high-speed communication system with the aim of developing modern and technology-based port management.

Axentec PLC has inaugurated the state-of-the-art 5G network with the aim of making the port’s digital activities more dynamic, safe and effective. On this occasion, an inauguration ceremony was held at the board room of the Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) on Monday.

At the ceremony, the Honorable Chairman of the Chattagram Port Authority (CPA), Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman, was present as the chief guest and announced the inauguration of the 5G network. Also present at the event were CPA Member (Harbor and Marine) Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, Member (Engineering) Commodore Md. Mazharul Islam Jewel.

, Director (Administration) Md. Omar Faruk, System Analyst Ekram Chowdhury and Secretary Md. Azizul Moula and other senior officials, and Axentec PLC CEO and Managing Director Adil Hossain Noble and other senior officials.

The speakers at the event expressed their views that the launch of this 5G network will play an important role in the automation of the port, information exchange, security monitoring and implementation of future smart ports.

The Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) hopes that the launch of the 5G network will further enhance the technological capabilities in port management and open new horizons in providing international quality services.
