Mushfiq takes place 30th position, according to ICC rankings

Mushfiqur Rahim showed a splendid performance in the recently concluded two-match Test series against Ireland. Mushfiqur Rahim has taken 30th position as a batter, according to the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings. ICC is the highest governing body of world cricket. He crossed seven steps to achieve the feat.
Mushfiqur Rahim played 100 Test matches at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur recently. He is the first Bangladeshi batter who played 100 Test matches. He hit century in his 100th Test match. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
Ace wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das also scored century at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium recently. He climbed eight spots to reach the 37th position as a batter. Experienced batter Mominul Haque also crossed eight steps to reach the 46th position as a batter. Promising batter Mahmudul Hasan Joy advanced two spots to reach 72nd position.
Meanwhile, experienced left-arm bowler Taijul Islam also climbed four spots to reach the 15th position. He is now the highest wicket-taker of Bangladesh. Taijul Islam crossed 250-wicket land-mark after playing 57 Test matches. He achieved a number of records in the outgoing two-match Test series against Ireland. He was adjudged the Player of the Series for his outstanding performance.
