BNP participate in next election under the leadership of Tarique Rahman

BNP is always ready for the election. Tarique Rahman will return to the country soon. BNP will participate in the election under his leadership. He also commented that the people have no interest in PR or referendum.
At this time, he said that the uncomfortable behavior of some advisors has created apprehension among the people about the election.
He said this while talking to journalists after visiting the shrine after the holy Jumma prayers at the Dargah Mosque of Hazrat Shah Jalal (RA) on Friday.
During the shrine visit, BNP Chairperson Advisor Dr. Enamul Haque Chowdhury, Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Co-Organizing Secretary Miftah Siddiqui, Sylhet District General Secretary Emran Ahmed Chowdhury and other leaders of BNP at various levels were present. Incidentally, Humayun Kabir, foreign affairs advisor to BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, was made the party’s joint secretary general on Wednesday. He will look after the party’s international affairs in this position, according to a press release signed by the party’s senior joint secretary general, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
Then, on Friday, he came to Sylhet and paid a visit to the shrine. Humayun Kabir left local politics in London and became active in BNP. After that, he became one of Tarique Rahman’s foreign affairs associates. Recently, he attracted the attention of the countrymen by representing BNP at the UN General Assembly session and accompanying the chief advisor. Humayun Kabir is a BNP candidate for Sylhet-2 constituency. Another candidate for this constituency is BNP Chairperson’s advisor Tahsina Rushdir Luna. Luna, the wife of missing BNP leader Ilyas Ali, has been active in the field for a long time. Humayun Kabir is going to contest from a seat in Sylhet in the upcoming national elections, the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said. Humayun Kabir said that if he contests, he will do so from Sylhet-2 constituency. His announcement has created a division among BNP leaders and activists of Sylhet-2 constituency consisting of Bishwanath, Balaganj and Osmaninagar.
