Yunus is Leading the Country Toward Violence : Momin Mahadi

Momin Mahadi, Chairman of Natundhara Bangladesh NDB, said that only to cling to power, Yunus is driving the country toward violence just like the fascists of the past. The lives of students, youths and general people have no value to him.

He said the above while addressing as the chief guest at a discussion titled “From Fascist to Mega-Fascist” held at Bijoy Auditorium on the afternoon of October 16. At that time, he also said that the Bangladesh Army, Police, and other forces are being ruthlessly destroyed, and the lives of students and youths are being made miserable solely to prolong power. Dr. Yunus has once again proven by following Sheikh Hasina’s path that Bangladeshis have always been unfortunate, deceived, and deprived as a nation.

Calling upon Dr. Yunus to stop the NCP-BNP-Jamaat drama over the July Charter and to work for the economic liberation of the people—for ensuring two meals a day—he said: “Do not forget that you came to power only by promising peace to the people of this country, therefore establish peace in Bangladesh, not unrest.”

The meeting was presided over by Kader Chowdhury, Joint Convenor of Dhaka South Metropolitan Natundhara, and speeches were delivered by Presidium Member Bir Muktijoddha Fazlul Haque, Senior Vice Chairman Shanta Farzana, Vice Chairman Dr. Nurjahan Neera, Joint Secretary General Monir Zaman, Wazed Rana, Organizational Secretary Haridas Sarkar, and Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Shah Alam Al Shawon.

At that time, the leaders mentioned that there is a conspiracy behind the Airport fire incident and said: “Conduct a fair investigation and inform the public why such a fire occurred at such an important establishment. When crores of taka are spent for security, then who set the fire like this, and who is trying to further destroy the country’s economy?”
