Global Islami Bank reconstitutes Shari’ah Supervisory Committee

Global Islami Bank has reconstituted its six-member Shari’ah Supervisory Committee during a meeting of the board of directors held at the head office of the bank in the capital on Thursday.
Chairman of Jamea Quasemia Kamil Madrasah, Narsingdi Sayed Kamaluddin Zafree has been elected as chairman of the committee, says a press release.

Other members of the committee are Prof. Dr Mohammad Abdus Samad, ex-Professor of Manarat International University; Mohammad Shah Wali Ullah, Khatib of SobhanBag Jame Mosjid, Dhaka; Mohammad Muhibbullahil Baki, Pesh Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Dhaka; Dr. Mohammad Monzur E Elahi, Associate Professor of National University, Gazipur; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sayedul Haque, Professor (Grade-1) of Bangladesh Open University, Gazipur.

Global Islami Bank’s board of directors Chairman Mohammad Nurul Amin, Vice-Chairman Md. Zamal Mollah, Chairman of EC Committee Nurul Islam Khalifa, Prof. Abu Hena Reza Hasan, Md. Mahamud Hosain, FCA, Managing Director Syed Habib Hasnat, Deputy Managing Directors Ataus Samad and Sami Karim were also present at the meeting.
