In Narayanganj’s Siddhirganj area, a young electric rickshaw (e-bike) driver, Md. Shakil Mia (26), was brutally murdered before his e-bike stolen. In a separate incident, a laborer named Chhoto Babu, also known as Babu (56), was beaten to death. Police have arrested a suspect named Milon in connection with Babu’s murder.
According to reports, on Thursday morning (November 21), locals discovered Shakil’s bloodied body near the Khilpara Boumara farm area in Jalkuri and informed the police. Upon arrival, police recovered the body and found a mobile phone in his pocket. Using the phone, they identified the victim and contacted his family.
Shakil had gone out with his e-bike on Wednesday night around 9 PM from the Masdair area. Later, the stolen e-bike was abandoned by the culprits near the IET School in the district’s Sadar area after its battery.
