Kishoreganj torch procession demands president’s resignation

An anti -Discrimination Student Movement brought out on a torch march in the town Monday night to demand the resignation of the President Mohammad Sahabuddin.

The procession started from Puranthana area of the town and circled on Monday night. Students and crowd participated in the march under the leadership of coordinators Ovi Chowdhury and Ikram Hossain.

According to a report published in Daily Manabzamin newspaper, President Mohammad Sahabuddin said, “He heard that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned, but he does not have any documentary evidence or documents related to this.”

Immediately after this, various criticisms have started on the President Mohammad Shahabuddin across the country.

Kishoreganj, anti-discrimination student movement coordinator Ovi Chowdhury said in a brief speech after the torch march, “We are getting some other hints in the President’s speech.

The Awami fascism is trying to rise again. I held a torch march demanding the resignation of this Awami fascist President Shahbuddin . More stringent programs will be announced later.

Another coordinator Ikram Hossain said, according to the constitution, the president should be neutral. But today Sahabuddin Chuppu has revealed himself as a friend of autocracy through his speech. If he does not resign soon, we will call for a strong agitation. We are on the highway.
