Under the overall supervision of the Rangpur and Jessore regions of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), normal operations have resumed in 11 border police stations within the Rangpur Range and 10 border police stations within the Khulna Range on Friday.
In light of the recent situation, the BGB has strengthened security in border areas and surrounding regions, including border police stations, to restore order and increase public confidence.
To enhance security in these police stations, mobile and static patrols have been conducted, and intelligence surveillance has been intensified.
Additionally, emergency mobile services have been activated, in coordination with nearby Border Outposts (BOP) and battalions, to assist in preventing activities harmful to public safety in the border areas, reports UNB.
Members of the Public started visiting the police stations for various services.
