Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner (DB Chief) Mohammad Harun Or Rashid has disclosed chilling details regarding the actions of Milton Samadder, revealing a pattern of sadistic behaviour driven by a drug addiction.
After a three-day remand on Sunday (May 5), DB Chief Mohammad Harun Or Rashid revealed that Milton Samadder derived perverse pleasure from amputating the limbs of helpless old people, revelling in the sight of their blood without providing proper medical care.
“Milton Samadder, a drug addict, derived demonic pleasure from amputating people’s limbs,” stated the DB Chief. “He would bring in old, disabled, and sick individuals from various locations, showcasing them to solicit donations that he failed to utilise for their welfare.”
Instead of providing genuine medical treatment, Milton would subject his victims to amputations under the guise of treatment, leaving them further debilitated. Shockingly, he possessed a significant sum of TK 1 crore 85 lakhs in his
bank account, indicating potential financial exploitation of his victims.
Furthermore, Milton Samadder’s wife, Mitu Howladar, was summoned for questioning at the DB office on Sunday to shed light on her husband’s nefarious activities.
Meanwhile, a Dhaka court granted a fresh four-day remand to Milton Samadder, founder of the charity organisation “Child and Old Age Care,” in a case pertaining to the creation of a fake death certificate through fraud.
The court order was issued by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Shanta Akter after a hearing on Sunday.
The severity of Milton Samadder’s crimes has shocked the community, prompting swift action by law enforcement authorities to ensure justice is served.
Meanwhile, a Dhaka court yesterday placed Milton Samadder, founder of Child and Old Age Care, on a four-day remand in a case filed over human trafficking.
Metropolitan Magistrate Shanta Akter of Dhaka CMM Court passed the order after Investigation Officer Sikdar Mohitul Alam, Inspector of the Detective Branch (DB) of police, produced the accused with a seven-day remand appeal.
Earlier in the day, Milton was produced in the court on completion of a three-day remand in a case filed over fraudulence.
