A two-day training was held for Sugarcane Development Assistants concluded on Tuesday regarding various inter-service issues including gap filling and irrigation in increasing sugarcane yield, organised by the Agriculture Department at Faridpur Sugar Mill located in Madhukhali, Faridpur.
In the sugar mill’s training building, mill’s general manager (agriculture) Muhammad Anis Uzzaman presided over the event. Managing Director of the sugar mill Md. Saifullah was the chief guest.
The managing director of the sugar mill Saifullah said that a comprehensive program has been taken from the agriculture department and administration department to increase the yield of the sugarcane that has been planted in the field this year.
All those programs are already being implemented. Hopefully the result will be positive.
