Jaya’s ‘Fereshte’ screened at Int’l Fajr Film Festival

Dhallywood and Tollywood’s popular actress Jaya Ahsan-starrer movie ‘Fereshte’ directed by Iranian director Murtaza Atash Zamzam has been selected for the 42nd International Fajr Film Festival in Tehran, Iran.
The movie ‘Fereshte’ was screened as the opening film of the festival on February 1, said a press release.
The movie was screened to compete in the main category of the festival. Out of 106 Iranian films, only
22 movies, including ‘Fereshte’,
have been selected to participate
in the competition.
This romantic and humanistic blend of screenplays is co-written by Murtaza Atash Zamzam and Mumit Al Rashid. The movie has given
special attention to the beauty of
the socio-cultural and customs
of Bangladesh.
Other cats of the movie include this year’s National Film Award winning actress Rikita Nandini Shimu, actors Shahiduzzaman Salim, Shahed Ali, Shaheen Mridha, France’s John Paul Sarmadius and child artiste Sathi.

While talking about screening her movie in the film festival, Jaya said about the film, “The work was very challenging. The entire team
including the director spoke in their native language. But films have
no language. That’s why we all connected strangely with their team.”
Jaya also talked about her character in the movie. She will be seen in such a struggling and courageous character of the underprivileged people
of Bangladesh.
