The 91st Board Meeting of Bangladesh Tea Board was held on Tuesday at the meeting room of Tea Resort and Museum, Srimangal under the chairmanship of Bangladesh Tea Board Chairman Major General Sheikh Md. Sarwar Hossain, SUP, ndc, psc. The meeting discussed and took decisions regarding the Bangladesh Tea Board and its affiliated Bangladesh Tea Research Institute, Project Development Unit, Tea Resort and Museum and the Tea Board-run gardens.
In addition, the board members discussed and took decisions in detail on the current situation, problems, prospects of the country’s tea industry and what needs to be done in the future to maintain the continuity of the development of this industry. The board meeting, moderated by Bangladesh Tea Board Secretary Mohammad Minhazur Rahman was attnded by the board members Md. Shahidul Islam ndc, Divisional Commissioner, Rangpur; Dr. Md.
