Two Rohingya youths were arrested from Firingi Bazar on Tuesday night for carrying 2,000 Yaba pills.
The arrestees were identified as Mohammad Hossain, 20 and Sultan Islam, 18. Tipped off, a police team intercepted a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Saudia Paribahan’ from Cox’s Bazar and arrested the duo around 11:30pm, said Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-In-Charge of Kotwali Police Station.
They also recovered Yaba pills kept inside the sole of their shoes.
