In a nationwide crackdown on criminals to maintain law and order, the police have arrested 1286 more crime suspects in the past 24 hours.
According to the Police Headquarters, 876 of them were arrested in previous cases and pending warrants while 410 others were apprehended on various criminal offences.
During the operation, two single barrel guns, one LG, one local pistol, two rounds of bullet of shotgun, one magazine, five rounds of bullet of pistol, nine round bullets of various firearms, seven rounds of shotgun shell, 13 rounds of shell of bullet and two sharp weapons were seized.
