Zia’s birth anniv observed amid doa mahfil and Khatme Quran

A doa mahfil, khatme quoran was arranged at Pahartali Eagle Star Textile Mills premises in observance of the 78th birth anniversary of former President and founder of BNP Ziaur Rahaman, on Sunday .
 Advisor to BNP chairperson and City Mayor M Manzoor Alam graced the occasion as chief guest. The guest in his speech said that the contribution of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman is unforgettable for the development and progress of the country. He said President beliefs on politics of productions and freedom of economy. He added Shaheed Zia is not alive but his ideals are remain with us. After end of the milad mahfil, city mayor distributed winter clothes among the poors and distressed.
Moulana Abdul Mannan conducted munajat praying peace and progress of the country in coming days, a release said.
