Zia shares 3rd position in Asian Chess

Bangladesh Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman shared the 3rd position with eight other players after the 6th round Open Section matches of the Asian Continental Chess Championships at Sharjah, UAE on Tuesday.
Zia secured 4 points after the 6th round matches.
In the 6th round match, Zia conceded defeat against Grandmaster Bogo Adhiban of India.
In the Women Section of the meet, WFM Nazrana Khan Eva lost to WFM Anu Bayar of Mongolia.
Eva earned 2 points after the 6th round matches.
