The talented director of Bangladesh’s dramas and films
S A Haque Alik has now completed the production of a short drama in the picturesque location of his own hometown Jamalpur. Title of the drama is ‘Jonakir Alo Nei’.
The main story of the drama is given by Mizanur Rahman Milon.
It is written and directed by director S A Haque Alik himself.
The shooting of the drama has already been completed.
The drama features two popular actors of the generation – Zaher Alvi and Tasnuva Tisha. Tasnuva Tisha played the role of Jonaki in the drama and Zaher Alvi played the role of Sumon.
Regarding talking about the drama, director S A Haque Alik told this correspondent, “It is basically a love story based drama – a simple story. But the presentation is quite different. This is my first work with Zaher Alvi and Tasnuva Tisha. I wanted to show the audience the character of both of them. They did the work with great attention. I hope the audience will like the similarities in the two characters, and the slightly different acting. And many may think that someone has lightning fireflies. But why gave the name of the drama ‘Jonakir Alo’? You have to watch this drama to know the answer to this question.”
Actor Zaher Alvi shared his feelings by this way, “The story of this drama is about love but it has to do with family. Alik Bhai tried to do the work with great care. I like the story and the direction of Alik Bhai very much. And I have acted with my co-star Tasnuva Tisha before. Tisha is always very cooperative. We have plans that we will do several things together in the future.”
Actress Tasnuva Tisha told this correspondent, “Alik Bhai’s direction is in one word excellent and very organised. I’m very familiar with his name since I watched his dramas or movies when I was a child. Since he is a senior director, I couldn’t understand how the work would be, how I and Alvi would do it. But Alik Bhai gave us that comfort zone to do the work with heart. As well as his modesty impressed, as well as his teaching the edge of each scene more impressed.”
Director S A Haque Alik informed that the drama will soon be aired on a satellite channel.
Somu Chowdhury, M A Salam, Shawkat Shovon and others also acted in the drama ‘Jonakir Alo Nei.’
Meanwhile, Zaher Alvi has already started working on a new series directed by Sanjit Sarkar. It is Alvi’s only serial of this time.
On the other hand, three dramas starring Tasnuva Tisha were released on YouTube last Thursday.
