A 25 years -old Youngman named Sarowar Hossain Rabbi in Kishoreganj’s Hossionpur who was angry after not getting a loan to travel abroad, rented microphone and abused others.
Last two days (Friday, Saturday) , Rabbi rented a microphone and abused his in various obscene languages. He then recorded the video and posted it on his Facebook ID. The video went viral within moments.
In the video, Rabbi said that, he has trying to go to Saudi Arabia for the past three-four months but is unable to do so as he does not have Tk.100,000.
He has been mentally broken despite applying for loans from various associations but has not received any support.
He alleged that some people in the area have spoken negatively about him to the association members and have stopped the loan.
In the words of Rabbi , no one will get a single taka from me, I have not stolen anyone’s money, I have not harmed anyone. Yet everyone is blocking my path.
He also said that his visa was cancelled twice before because of some people in the area.
This time too, the Saudi Arabia visa and medical validity will expire on October 30. When he went to take a loan from the Expatriate Welfare Bank, he was asked for a bribe of Tk 25,000, which he refused to pay.
Rabbi claims that he was provoked by these injustices and rented a microphone and used foul language. The video shows that he was accompanied by some local youths.
There have been mixed reactions among locals, with some feeling insulted by the Rabbi’s behavior, while others say he acted out of frustration and stress.
