World Teacher’s Day was celebrated with due dignity in Baraigram Upazila of Natore.
On the initiative of the upazila administration, a colourful rally and discussion meeting were organised on Saturday last. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous presided over the meeting. Also, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Abdur Rauf, Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Mizanur Rahman, Bonpara St. Joseph’s School’s assistant teacher Shivdas Sanyal and others spoke there.
Apart from this, in recognition of special contribution to education, three expert teachers were given crest as memorial documents.
They are Gopal Chandra Mitra, Assistant Professor of Bonpara Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mahila Honr’s College of higher secondary level, Shivdas Sanyal, Assistant Teacher of Bonpara St. Joseph’s School of secondary level and Saiful Islam, Headmaster of Baraigram Government Primary School of primary level .
