The World Sports Press Day was observed in the capital on Tuesday.
Marking the day, members of Bangladesh Sports Press Association cut a large cake in its office room on the day.
There are three associations in Bangladesh, who represent the sports writers and sports journalists. They are: Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA), Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) and Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community (BSJC). Of them, BSPA is affiliated with AIPS. The different sports federations and associations of Bangladesh revealed their wishes marking this day.
